What Does It All Mean . . . Native to the Amazon Rainforest?

    The latex rubber seed, originating from the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis), is native to the Amazon rainforest in South America. Over time, it spread to other tropical regions due to its valuable sap, which is harvested from the tree by tapping its bark. The sap, known as latex, is collected and then processed into various products, including mattress foam. The latex undergoes a series of steps, such as coagulation and molding, to form a soft, durable material that is used in the production of mattresses, providing comfort and support for sleepers.

Natural Talalay Latex.

    The key difference between Natural Talalay and Certified Organic Latex mattresses lies in the production process and the materials used. Natural Talalay latex mattresses are made from natural latex, which is sourced from rubber trees, but undergo a specific 8-step process called the Talalay process, which involves molding and freezing the latex to create a more consistent, airy structure. This results in a softer and more responsive feel. Each natural Talalay core comes with its own label that is rated in 9 separate areas for firmness.

     Using multiple layers of latex foam in our mattresses, we can offer four different mattress firmnesses:  Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm.  Our GOLS Certified Organic Latex also comes in Super Firm ("hard as the floor").  Our 7 Inch Latex mattress have two 3" layers of latex inside, and quilted on both sides with 1/2" of quilting.  Our most popular mattress, the 10-Inch has 3 separate layers of latex foam inside; also available in four different firmnesses.  THE ULTIMATE Mattress has 6" of Latex in the middle, and surrounded on both sides with a little Softer Latex; also available in four different firmnesses.  With our zipper cover it also easy to ever change the firmness for any reason.

note:  THE ULTIMATE incorporates a Softer Layer on the top and bottom . . . that maps out as probably the most pressure-reducing mattress for the home.

Are Pocketed Coils Good?

     About one out of ten of our customer's certainly think so.  We build our pocketed coil mattresses the old fashioned way:  completely reversible, quilted on both sides, handles and with our exclusive 3 zipper cover.  We then put 3" of either Natural Talalay or GOLS Certified Organic Latex on top and bottom; available in Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm.  This is what some of our customers DEMAND!  Who are we to argue.  We proudly say we make the most comfortable pocketed-coil hybrid in the World!
