Before
you buy a powered Disabled Stair Lift, compare Price, Quality, Guarantee
and Service. The Stair Lift track easily mounts on top of either your
right or left side of your stairway. Standard 110 outlet is only required, you
simply plug it in. The Senior Staircase Lift actually operated on a
battery charger and the Handicap StairLift unit will still work if there is a
power outage. The Disability Stairway Lifter seat will swivel on both
the top and bottom of the stairway, making transferring in and very easy. You
simply operate the finger tip controls to go up and down; and the unit will
automatically turn off is there is any obstructions in the way. Remote Control
call and send buttons are standard for both the top and bottom of the stairway.
Select a model for your personal use, and take a health break. No one will get
you a Better Price, or will give you better Service or will install a unit
Faster. Since 1964, we have made "Your 100% Total Satisfaction Our Only
Goal."

Before
you buy a Stairway Climber, we need to know the details that will lead to your
100% satisfaction. When you call us, we are going to have to ask you several
questions to determine the best unit for you.
Of course, we know the COST will always be a primary concern, whether you are a millionaire or are primarily living off social security. We know that most people are not "rich and famous" and are most interested in getting a quality stair lift at the most economical cost.
The first question is if you are looking
for a basic straight up and down stairway climber, or a custom curve or
right angle stairway climber. Then we need to know if you are planning to use
your stairway climber indoors or outdoors; whether you are planning
(looking up from downstairs) to put the stairway climber on the left side or the
right side. We then have to ask the important questions if you have any doorways
or passage ways that may be a concern. Some stairway climbers come with optional
flip-ups on the bottom of the stairway to avoid an opening doorway or
obstruction.
A
Stairway Climber sits on your steps. They are basically pretty easy to
install. We actually attach mounting brackets to your stairway and then put the
rail on top. We then but the motorized part on top of the rail. Custom Stairway
Units are a little more difficult to install; and they take more time in the
fact that we have to take custom measurements for your stairway. The price of
the customer stairway that make custom stairway climber is also usually
two to three times more expensive that the more simple, straight stairway
climbers. The Stairway Climbers all fold up when not in use; the seat and
footrest, to take up less than 14" of room when not in use. Bruno has a
new optional feature that can electrically elevate the seat and foot rest.

Usually
the standard features on stairway climbers are a battery charger: the reason the
units are so easy to install is that you are really just plugging into your wall
a battery charger. You don't need any special electricity or wiring. By plugging
in the battery charger, you are just charging the batteries. In the event of a
power outage, your stairway climber will still work for about 17 times up and
down (your stairway climber may be the only thing that still works in the event
of a power outage). Batteries usually will last for two to three years before
you have to replace them. The stairway climber will usually "beep" you; and some
units even display a special number code; to tell you the batteries are weak, or
need changing.

We are authorized
dealers of almost all the manufacturers of stairway climbers:
Acorn Stairway Climbers,
Bruno Chair Stairway Climber,
Harmar Stairway Climber
and
Summit Stairway Climbert.
All the manufacturers today are built very well. After our years of
experience, we highly recommend the Acorn if you are looking for a Straight
Stairway Climber at an excellent price.
The
Acorn Stairway Climbers were redesigned about 3 years ago, and they offer
superior workmanship and features (including a key switch and built in
diagnostics - that digitally displays and service issues). The Acorn
Stairway Climber also has the finger tip controls on both sides of the arm
rests, which is a great feature if one hand is better than the other hand.
Bruno is still the most respected name in Stairway Climbers. There most economical model with the best price and cost is the Bruno 2750. If you need a heavy duty unit, or are transferring in and out of a wheelchair, the SRE-1550 is unsurpassed. If money is not really a concern, and you want the highest quality and best design stairway climber, then we would highly recommend the Bruno Elite Stairway Climber SRE-2010. The Outside Exterior Model SRE-2010E is unsurpassed. The Acorn and Summit Outdoor and Exterior Units are good, but the Bruno Elite Outdoor Exterior SRE-2010E is by far the very best in terms of quality and design.
Bruno is also the most respected name in custom curve Stairway Climbers, the CRE-2110.
Some of our customers also wind up
buying our great selection of Electric
Wheelchair Vertical Platform
Lift Elevators.
